Changes in portal login and personal data management

To further improve RackForest's services, we are moving the authentication within the customer portal and the editing of personal data (email address, name, phone number) to a new, separate system. The new interface already follows RackForest's refreshed branding.

Important: your data continues to be stored and managed by us; it is not shared with any third party.

What does this mean in practice?

Still available on the customer portal:

  • managing services and ordering new services
  • invoices, payments
  • managing billing information
  • contacting support, ticket management

Available on the new RackForest Authentication Portal:

  • editing personal data (email, name, phone number)
  • changing your password
  • setting up and managing two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • managing PassKeys
  • generating recovery codes

You can access the authentication portal through the customer portal: select the **"Edit personal data"** option, and you will be redirected to the new interface.

New features built on this foundation

In the future, several new features and services will be built on this authentication system. The first such development is the **account switcher**: from now on, **you can manage the services of multiple companies with a single user account**, and switch between accounts quickly and easily.

Migration – what changes with your existing settings?

Accounts have been migrated automatically, which means:

  • your previously set passwords remain usable without any changes,
  • your two-factor authentication (2FA) settings have been preserved,
  • your PassKeys also remain usable.

Exception: PassKeys set up in Firefox may not always transfer without changes, so you may need to re-register them in the new system.

Another change is that user accounts registered with the same email address have been merged during the migration, so from now on you can access all associated permissions and accounts with a single login.

If you have any questions or need help with logging in or your settings, don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to help!

Best regards,
The RackForest Team
